3D Renders

The minimal canvas of a single cube, a light, and a camera somehow lets my creativity run wild.

Irradiance Volumes

I came up with this very simple, yet intriguing render from a simple idea: irradiance volumes. In the software there are 2 types of renderers. One of them had the option to use realistic shadows and lights. This gave me the idea to make a render where it had shadows and light in contrasting places to show the feature in action.

Mountain Troll

This render came from an idea for a class I was taking where I had to make a presentation on a topic. I decided to do it on Swedish trolls and so for that, I made this render to use an image for it. It also put into scale how big trolls are depicted in folklore compared to humans (and a banana for scale).

MAR10 Day

For this render, I saw a feature where you could make a 3D model using many smaller other 3D models. So in this, I decided to make a Mario mystery block using many small LEGO bricks. Using this simple feature, I could turn anything into a LEGO-ified version of it.

Christmas Day

I realised that I could make extremely realistic looking fire simulations in the software very easily. This led me to making a simple fire simulation and it almost looked like a Christmas themed scene. Then I added a few additional elements like a tree, a fireplace area, and coal to make it look more Christmas themed. There were also small details I added such as a Santa hat on the tree.

Force Fields

For this, I saw that there was a physics option for creating a force field and effectors based on a particle simulation. So using this, I decided to make a little animation where particles of different colours (changing based on their speed) are affected by a changing force that repels and attracts them.
